Welcome to the Walk4Change – Outdoor Walking Adventures – a vibrant community initiative created to bring together like-minded mums who share a love for the great outdoors, a passion for holistic health, and a commitment to making choices that change our health and life for the better. These outdoor walking adventures are born from my own life journey, shaped by the wide-open spaces of my childhood, my interest and passion in holistic health including exercise and movement and the life-altering challenges I’ve faced along the way.
A Childhood Rooted in Nature
Growing up on two farms, I spent every day exploring the great outdoors. Surrounded by vast farmland, expansive skies, and breathtaking views, my love for nature and adventure was cultivated early on. The long walks across the fields, the endless horizons, and the sense of freedom that came with being in nature are experiences that have stayed with me throughout my life. These early years instilled in me a deep appreciation for the healing power of nature and the importance of staying active and connected to the world around us.
A Passion Fueled by Life’s Challenges
Life took a challenging turn when I lost my mother to secondary breast cancer at the age of 19. This devastating loss, coupled with enduring long-term financial hardships many years later, tested me in ways I could never have imagined. Yet, it was through these hardships that I discovered the transformative power of holistic health and wellness. I learned that daily movement, exercise, and a commitment to self-care were essential in navigating these tough times. Each step forward, no matter how small, helped me overcome fears, rebuild my confidence, and keep moving through the challenges.
Creating a Community of Resilient Mums
I am a certified Hypnotherapist, Time Line Therapist, Life Coach, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Coach, and Quantum Flow Practitioner. My mission is to guide and empower other mums to unleash the resilient and resourceful nurturer and warrior within themselves. Through education, inspiration, and shared experiences, I aim to help you evolve and thrive in all areas of your life.
